SCOPE OF WORK - The facility is powered via one (1) incoming overhead 13.8kV electrical service. The incoming feeder enters the Building 105 Switchgear Main Switchboard. This General Electric switchboard consists of (13) General Electric Type VB-1, 13.8kV, 1200Amp 1500MVA vacuum circuit breakers with Solid Stte Protective Relays. The 13.8kV is stepped down to 4800V via an outdoo oil filled padmount transformer located adjacent to the Switchgear/Generator Building. The 4800V re-enters the building and is distributed to the facility utilizing the above mentioned switchgear. The Switchgear/Generator Building oil filled padmount transformer is located next to the facility transformer. In addition, there is a spare oil filled unit onsite at this time. the automatic transfer scheme is handled via General Electric Type 750 Feeder Management Relays and General Electric Fanuc PLC Controller and is considered full automatic.
