The project consists of upgrades to the overall compressed air system at the Jones Island Water Reclamation Facility, including demolition and removal of multiple compressors, dryers and air receivers; providing two new banks of compressors, dryers and receiving tanks; installation of new remotely located receiving tanks; providing a new control system for the compressors and ancillary equipment to allow them to operate as a single compressed air system; removal of other remote compressors; and compressor air piping upgrades. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided and accompanied by a Bid Bond on the form provided or cash or certified check or cashier's check, payable to the Milwaukee Metropolitan Sewerage District in an amount not less than 5% of the bid amount. If the Bidder elects to furnish bid security other than a Bid Bond, the bid security must be in the Owner's possession at 260 West.
