The Wai Kwan Manor is a 15-story residential building located at 200 1 St SW in Calgary, AB. It is operated by the Oi Kwan Foundation and the Alberta Social Housing Corporation. There are 126 one-bedroom apartments inside. The Wai Kwan Manor building envelope is leaking. The Alberta Social Housing Corporation engaged ehZee Engineering Corporation to perform the following: identify internal and external stakeholder communication plans collect, assemble and review all currently available documents investigate and assess current conditions of various building envelope components, in particular replace original sloped glass skylights and original curtain wall glazing on the fifteen floor with metal and vertical glazing replace exterior vertical windows in resident suites and replace all vertical windows in common area remediate all brick work at the sill below exterior windows and incorporate a metal flashing over the brick work identify all required site testing include a prioritized list of recommendations for repair or replacement of component Cancelled.
