Site work and new construction of an educational facility in San Marcos, California. Completed plans call for the construction of a 7,602-square-foot, one-story above grade educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
San Marcos Unified School District (District) is seeking proposals pursuant to Education Code 17400 et seq. from pre-qualified firms for Lease-Leaseback Construction Services ("LLB") entities qualified to provide to the District a full range of LLB services for the Districts proposed Double Peak School New Classroom Building Project (Project), including, but not limited to, pre-construction services including constructability review and value engineering, as well as construction services. As further described in the RFP, only pre-qualified LLB entities may propose and the winning proposal will be that which offers the best value to the District as determined pursuant to the criteria and evaluation process set forth in the RFP. Upon selection of the best value firm, the District will endeavor to negotiate a mutually agreeable LLB agreement with the selected firm. In the event that the District is unable to reach agreement, the District will proceed, at its sole discretion, to negotiate with the next firm selected by the District. The District reserves the right to waive any minor or immaterial deviations in the RFP or the proposals received, and/or to reject all proposals if so determined by the Districts governing board.
