Renovation of a municipal facility in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The intent of this bid call is to obtain an offer to perform work associated with preparing the Summer Street entrance to be the only patient / visitor entrance to the hospital, supporting the programs and traffic from the Robie Street entrance, as well as the new traffic from the Summer Street parkade. The renovation includes an expansion of the existing entrance vestibule and the realignment of the existing program components, such as registration kiosks and information desks, within the Summer Street lobby. Associated with this work includes upgrades to the finishes in the lobby area, washroom refresh, demolition for a pharmacy counter leasehold, an office suite reconfiguration and other general upgrades attending to building code requirements to address fire safety and accessibility. All work shall be completed at the QEII Health Science Centre Halifax Infirmary (HI) located at 1799 Robie Street, Halifax, N.S. for a Stipulated Price contract, in accordance with the Contract Documents.
