As of March 23, 2022, project was awarded to Warner's Athletic Construction Co., LLC , awarded amount is $862,377.22. The Stewarts Creek High School has initiated a project to replace the existing grass field with a high quality new synthetic turf surface. The school intends to purchase on a competitive basis, from qualified companies Synthetic Turf for its Football Field all in accordance with the terms and conditions detailed herein. Bidder to provide and install approximately 105,000 sq. ft. of synthetic turf using Shaw-Legion HP 2.0 synthetic turf with sand/crumb rubber infill or approved equal. Turf will be delivered in 15' rolls. All logos and field markings to be approved on the drawings prior to being ordered. The scope for all work and materials for the turf installation is as follows: Bidders are to have a current Tennessee Contractors license and proof of insurance. The Board reserves the right to increase or decrease amounts and/or quantities at its sole discretion. Quantities have been provided as an approximation and may be estimates of potential purchases and are not necessarily guaranteed initial purchase quantities. Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids submitted. Questions regarding the bid documents or specifications should be directed to directed to Lynn Pater, paterl@rcschools.net, or 615-904-3762. o Bidder to demo and excavate existing soils to a depth to achieve.5% slope and remove existing turf and haul offsite. o Bidder to sub grade at +/-1/2", laser grade to specifications and roll to compact. o Bidder to supply and install the pressure treated 2x4 nailer board to the existing curb inside the track to secure the turf. o Bidder to install a header ditch/drainage system using 10" corregated pipe on the subgrade. o Bidder to install the geo-textile fabric liner on the subgrade to provide a barrier between the stone and soil. o Bidder to install, laser grade, spread, and compact 4" of washed #57 crushed limestone for the drainage base material as well as a 2" layer of #89 stone. o Bidder to install Shaw synthetic turf system approximately 105,000 sq. ft. Shaw-Legion HP 2.0 synthetic turf or approved equal. Colors TBD. o Bidder to install numbers, 2-color logo to midfield and endzones letters per specifications. o Bidder to secure bonds and permits required by the city of Smyrna, county of Rutherford and the State of Tennessee. o Bidder to provide a one-year warranty on workmanship on base.
