The proposed work consists of the construction of a median and resurfacing 0.20 miles of Navarre Avenue and widening and resurfacing 0.16 miles of Coy Road along with the replacement of the existing culvert on Coy Road north of Navarre Avenue. Work also includes the replacement of the traffic signal, pedestrian ramps, pavement marking and signing, drainage improvements and miscellaneous work required to complete the project. Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 10% of the bid amount with a surety satisfactory to the City or by certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit upon a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid amount in favor of the City of Oregon. Attention of bidders is called to all of the requirements contained in this bid packet, particularly to the Federal Labor Provisions and Davis-Bacon Wages, various insurance requirements, various equal opportunity provisions; and the requirements for a performance bond or a bid guaranty and contract bond for 100% of the contract price This project is classified as a Local Public Agency project with the City of Oregon Administering the project and the Ohio Department of Transportation providing project oversight.
