Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Amherst, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Mill Lane Multi-Use Path and Kellogg Avenue Sidewalk Reconstruction Mill Lane Multi-Use Path The construction work proposed for this project will consist of removing existing HMA sidewalks, curb ramps and crosswalks to allow for the construction of a new 8-10' wide multi-use path system. This path system will provide a connection from East Hadley Road across Route 116 to Mill Lane. The multi-use path will then follow Mill Lane, eventually terminating at Groff Park, a Town-owned Park and recreation area. The asphalt path system will vary in width from 8'to 10' and will be approximately 945' in length. The estimated cost is: $500,000. Kellogg Avenue Sidewalk Reconstruction The construction work proposed with this project will consist of removing existing HMA and concrete sidewalks, HMA and concrete curbing, and concrete curb ramps to allow for the construction of a new sidewalk along Kellogg Avenue and Boltwood Walk. The new HMA sidewalk along Kellogg will be 5-6' wide and approximately 1,035 feet in length. The new concrete sidewalk along the Boltwood Avenue parking lot will be 5-8' wide and approximately 190 feet in length. The estimated cost is: $150,000. TP20-10, TP21-16
