Nevada Health Centers, a Nevada and 501c3 non-profit corporation, invites the submittal of responses from qualified contractors to the competitive bidding process for the construction of an HVAC negative pressure retrofit project on two dental/medical exam rooms and related work. Said proposal shall include all permits, fees, tools, implements, machinery, equipment, materials, labor and any incidentals necessary to complete the work in the manner and time prescribed, and in strict conformity with the contract documents and the plans provided. In general, the major work items include converting two existing rooms to negative pressure environments utilizing existing rooftop HVAC units and adding exhaust fans and control mechanisms. This project is funded by a grant from the State of Nevada Governor s Office of Economic Development in cooperation with Elko County utilizing funds from the Community Development Block Grant Program. As such, the contractor will be required to comply with Nevada Revised Statutes as well as requirements of the CDBG program and the federal Davis/Bacon Wage Act as outlined in the bid documents.
