As of May 10, 2022 per the Owner all bids were rejected. The project will go out for a rebid. A timeline for the rebid has not been established at this time. The Monson Housing Authority, the Awarding Authority, invites sealed bids from General Contractors for the DHW Heater Replacement in Monson, Massachusetts, in accordance with the documents prepared by Bowman Engineering, Inc.. The Project consists of: Replacement of a total of 23 residential electric water heaters in multiple buildings. Full or portions of the project may be impacted by the pandemic. The Notice to Proceed for this project may be issued as much as 90 days from the date DHCD approves the construction contract. The work is estimated to cost $69,207. DCAMM Certification Requirements: NONE This deposit will be refunded for up to two sets for general bidders and for one set for sub-bidders upon return of the sets in good condition within thirty (30) days of receipt of general bids. Otherwise the deposit shall be the property of the Awarding Authority. General bids shall be accompanied by a bid deposit that is not less than five (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount (considering all alternates), and made payable to the Monson Housing Authority. In addition, the Work under the Contract includes: 1. Work outside the Project Site as called for in the Contract Documents and as required for the performance of the Work. 2. The restoration of any items damaged or destroyed by encroaching upon areas outside the Project Site. 3. Providing and restoring, where appropriate, all temporary facilities
