Brief description of project: manufacturing, delivery and setup of transmission to distribution step down transformers at three locations in Hastings, NE. If you plan on bidding and are not already on our approved bidders list for this project, you are REQUIRED to fill out the Plan Holders Submittal Form that is located on the City site. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, drawn on a solvent bank in the State of Nebraska, or a bid bond in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the total bid of all contract construction costs, made payable to the City Treasurer of the City of Hastings, Nebraska, as security that the bidder to whom the contract may be awarded will enter into a contract to build all the improvements in accordance with this notice and give bond in the sum hereinafter provided for the construction of improvements. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond in the sum of the full amount of the Contract within ten (10) days of the date of award. No additional time will be allowed the Contractor for providing the Maintenance Bond. City of Hastings reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and may waive any informalities and may accept the proposal which best suits its needs. It is further understood that this proposal may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty days (60) days after bids are opened.
