Project Description: The purpose of this requirement is to complete repairs to a Mission Essential Building, Bldg 279 located at Sunny Point in North Carolina. This project consists of removing the existing shingled roof and replacing it with a standing seam metal roof to match the adjacent building, Bldg 277. Interior work consists of replacing all floor finishes and the new ceiling grid and tiles as well as removing current fluorescent lighting fixtures and replacing them with new LED fixtures. The building size is approximately 2100sf. The contract issued will be Firm Fixed Price. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 236220 - Commercial and Institutional Building Construction and the size standard is $39,500,000.00. The Magnitude of Construction of this project is between $500,000 and $1,000,000. This solicitation will be issued in electronic format only and will be available on or about March 28, 2022.
