Knoxville Utilities Board (KUB) will be taking bids for an alternate version of our current fiber hut that will be in place primarily at substations but also wherever needed to aid in the distribution of our new fiber network. Appendix 2 contains the specifications of this custom-fabricated building. This bid will be evaluated by an internal team based on the following criteria: Price, Adherence to Specification, Lead time and Business References. Appendix 1 contains the reference sheet. The winner of this bid will enter into a three year supply agreement with a one year option to renew. Freight should be included in the bid as the terms of shipping are FOB Destination. The winning bidder will also be responsible for crane rental and unloading/placement of the structure to its location. Contract duration: 3 years Contract renewal: 1 annual renewal Q & A deadline: Mar 08, 2022 12:00:00 PM EST Notice of Award on or around March 25, 2022.
