Renovation of a municipal facility in Austin, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
SCOPE: Pursuant to Texas Government Code Section 2165.001, Custodianship of State Property, and Section 2156.121, Use of Competitive Sealed Proposals, the Texas Facilities Commission (TFC) is requesting responses to this Request for Proposal for the provision replacing the fire alarm system in the John H. Reagan (JHR) Building and upgrading the Mass Notification System (MNS) for miscellaneous buildings in the Capitol Complex. CONTRACT TERM: The service is expected to start withing fifteen (15) business day from the Notice to Proceed. Services are anticipated to be completed no later than 8/31/2022. This contract is contingent upon the continued availability of funding. If funds become unavailable through lack of appropriations, legislative budget cuts, amendment of the Appropriations Act, state agency consolidations, or any other disruption of current appropriations, provisions of the Termination Article in the Services Contract shall apply. Contractor shall provide all equipment, installation materials and cabling, installation labor, demolition labor, programming, testing, design work, and owner training.
