As of April 27, 2022, the project has been awarded to Red Oak Construction Company for $93,906.25. Bidders must be qualified under Mississippi State Law and show Certificate of Responsibility issued by the Mississippi State Board of Public Contractors. Project includes but is not limited to the installation of 775 +/- linear feet of new 8" water line along Brenmar St. in Brandon, MS including new fire hydrant(s), gate valve(s) and other required items as shown in the plan drawings. The DRAWINGS, SPECIFICATIONS AND CONTRACT DOCUMENTS may be examined at the following locations: 1. City of Brandon, 1000 Municipal Drive, Brandon, MS 39042 2 Benchmark Engineering & Surveying, LLC, 101 Highpointe Court, Suite B, Brandon, MS 39042 Each bidder shall write the Certificate of Responsibility number and Mississippi Contractors License number on the outside of the sealed envelope containing his proposal. Proposals shall be submitted in duplicate, sealed and deposited with the City Clerk prior to the hour and date designated above. Bid Number 2022-07 should be marked in the lower left corner of the envelope. liquidated damages being Five Hundred Dollars ($500) per calendar day
