The RM of La Broquerie is seeking services for the Design, Supply and Installation of three (3) community playgrounds in the RM of La Broquerie. Playground development is identified in the Community Recreation Master plan as a priority. Project must be completed by October 31, 2022. Total cost for the proposal shall not exceed $525,000.00 including any required Manitoba provincial sales tax. Site 1 will be a marquee community park located in the Recreation Campus in La Broquerie. This playground will be developed with equipment suitable for both ages 2-5 and 5-12 with an awareness of inclusive play and accessible components. The proposal for this playground should include two options, one for rubber surfacing and one with an alternative fall protection option. Site location is flexible in size with a maximum of approximately 560 sqm (6000 ft2) available and generally rectangular in shape. Total cost of this project shall be no greater than $350,000.00 including any required Manitoba provincial sales tax. Site 2 will be located in the LUD of La Broquerie. This playground will be developed with a primary focus on equipment suitable for ages 2-5. Additional equipment can be installed to expand the targeted age group but should be focused on younger, 10 and under, participants. Site location is flexible in size with a maximum of approximately 280 sqm (3000 ft2) available and generally triangular in shape. Total cost of this project should be no greater than $100,000.00 including any required Manitoba sales tax. Site 3 will be located in Marchand, Manitoba. This playground will be developed with equipment suitable for ages 5-12. Site location is flexible in size with a maximum of approximately 160 sqm (1700 ft2) available and generally square in shape. Total cost of this project should be no greater than $75,000.00 including any required Manitoba sales tax.
