Provisions of State statutes and regulations are incorporated into the contract pursuant to COMAR (Code of Maryland Regulations) 21.03.01.05B. This project consists of the Contractor providing all labor, equipment, materials, supplies, insurance, etc. which are necessary for the replacement of approximately 28 fire rated doors and associated frames, and removing two unused doors and frames, and infilling with studs and drywall at the Western Maryland Hospital Center located at 1500 Pennsylvania Avenue, Hagerstown, Maryland 21742. 2. The proposed project shall include but is not limited to the following: a. Comply with Western Maryland Hospital Center (WMHC) Contractor Risk Reduction and Interim Life Safety Policy (Appendix 1), ICRA Policy (Appendix 2) and latest the COVID requirements of WMHC in addition to State and Local Authorities. b. The Contractor shall meet, on site with qualified personnel from the Door/Frame and Hardware Suppliers to determine a schedule of doors/frames and associated hardware to be installed in this project. c. As required the Contractor shall coordinate all work with the WMHC Personnel and their Contractors including, but not limited to Security Alarms, Fire Alarm, Access Control Systems etc. c. At each area of work, protect the interior finishes, such as existing painted or stained finishes, floor and ceilings, from damage resulting from the project activities. d. Working on one door at a time set up the required temporary dust control barriers and extraction system as required by the Infection Control Nurse in accordance with WMHC Contractor Risk Reduction and Interim Life Safety Policy and ICRA Policy
