The auction method is: Lowest price. Polytechnique Montréal does not undertake to accept any of the submissions received. The tender documents take precedence over this notice. You are invited to view the tender documents before purchasing them, if this is possible for you in electronic tendering system. Submissions may be transmitted electronically. If necessary, this transmission can only be made through the electronic tendering system. Polytechnique Montréal, located on the campus of the Université de Montréal, is one of the largest engineering education and research institutions in Canada. It ranks first in Quebec for the number of its students and for the scope of its research activities. With more than 50,000 graduates, Polytechnique Montréal has trained nearly a quarter of the current members of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. The institution offers more than 120 programs. It has 250 professors and 8200 students. Its annual operating budget is over $240 million, including a research budget of over $81 million. Brief description of the contract : This estimate is the subject of a pre-order of equipment according to the agreement established with the customer. The contract will be transferred under the responsibility of the General Contractor when the latter has been selected. The coordination and installation of the doors must be done with the General Contractor. The equipment described in this estimate will be pre-ordered by the client by means of a letter of intent authorizing the manufacturer to begin manufacturing the equipment. No prepayment will be made by the client for the manufacturing and delivery of the equipment described in this estimate. The client's pre-order will be given to the chosen contractor-installer so that he can issue a purchase order to the equipment manufacturer. The amount of the purchase order will be as indicated in the client's letter of intent. The selected manufacturer must consider the contractor-installer retained by the work provider as if this contractor-installer had ordered the equipment himself. The manufacturer must provide the contractor-installer with all the technical and administrative support requested in this pre-order estimate, such as coordination, delivery dates, start-up assistance, warranty, etc.). The manufacturer retained by the client must present its billing directly to the contractor-installer. The manufacturer agrees to begin manufacturing immediately upon receipt of the shop drawings approved by the Engineer. The manufacturer undertakes to begin the preparation of shop drawings immediately after receiving the client's letter of intent. All of the equipment must be delivered to the site within the delivery time specified in the tender form. The delivery time specified in the tender form must include the time for approval of the shop drawings. The tender price must include the supply, the transport of the equipment described to the work site as well as the installation. award is subject to final approval.
