Deliver hard copy Bid Documents in a sealed envelope, with the Project Name and Project Number as stated in the Call for Bids clearly marked on the outside of the envelope, or as otherwise required in the Bid Documents, to ensure proper handling and delivery.

Description of Work: This contract provides for the improvement of Point Fosdick Drive NW by crack and seating and then overlaying the roadway with Hot Mix Asphalt, guardrail installation, and other work in accordance with and as described in the Plans and Specifications. Pierce County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
