City of Vancouver ("City") of its intent to contract with DBM Refrigeration Ltd for the service and repair of refrigerators for the Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation golf course club houses and concessions stands. The Vancouver Board of Parks and Recreation requires a refrigeration technician to service equipment located at 11 concession stands and 3 golf course club houses located throughout the City. The technician is required to start up refrigeration equipment at the beginning of the season, and shut it off once the season ends. DBM will also be called upon throughout the season for repairs and/or servicing as and when required. The contract is a 1 year term with the option to extend on a yearly basis up to 7 years upon mutual agreement. The contract is valued at approximately $25,000 for the initial year.
