Renovation of an educational facility in Johnstown, New York. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Campus Lab and Classrooms Renovations Phase 3 - Electrical Construction All questions and/or requests for clarification regarding the contract documents shall be directed in writing to JMZ Architects, David VanGuilder, AIA, fax (518) 793-1735 or DVanGuilder@jmzarchitects.com. Telephone inquiries will not be considered. All questions must be received no later than the close of the business day, seven days prior to the bid date. Addenda may be issued during the bid period at the discretion of the Architect. These contracts are governed by public bidding laws of New York State, subject to compliance with Article 8 of the New York State Labor Law regarding prevailing rate of wages, and exempt from payment of certain sales tax laws of New York State and other government municipalities. Prevailing Wage Rates apply to all work performed for Fulton and Montgomery Counties. A "Performance Bond" and a "Labor and Materials Payment Bond" in the amount of the contract price and the form described in the Contract Documents will be required from the successful bidder prior to award Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bank draft payable to the Fulton County Treasurer or a Bid Bond for a sum equal to five-percent (5%) of the Bid. Fulton and Montgomery Counties reserve the right to waive any irregularities or informalities in bidding or to reject any or all bids or to accept any bid which is in the best interest of the County The Project consists of the alteration of classrooms and labs in the college's existing Classroom Building originally constructed in 1967. The estimated construction cost of each contract is as follows: Contract 1: $478,000; Contract 2: $57,000; Contract 3: $27,000; Contract 4: $94,000. - Electrical Construction shall provide labor, material, plant, tools, equipment, and supervision related to and/or necessarily involved with the performance and completion of the work, as indicated on all the Drawings, Specifications and or Project Manual, and as set forth below. Work for Contract No. 4 is generally described as Electrical Construction but more specifically described in this Scope of Work
