This project includes furnishing of all materials, equipment, labor and means of construction necessary for the construction of the Dove Point Pump Station, 20-inch gravity sewer installation, fire station wet well conversion to a receiving manhole, Reunion pump station abandonment including site and yard piping modifications, modifications to the Mulberry Creek pump station including the installation of a vertical screen, removal of pumps with motors and installation of new dry pit submersible pumps, installation of a compressed air mixing system and spray water system in the wet well and installation of a new 16-inch HDPE and DIP force main and demolition of the surge tank along with site work. Modifications to the Crystal Farms pump station include installation of an insertion valve, construction of two (2) new valve vaults with interconnecting 12-inch DIP force main, new valve vault at HWY 53 and Howington Road. All work includes new electrical, and instrumentation as shown on the plans and specified. B. Work shall include clean-up and dress-up and all repair work necessary to restore pavement, lawns, and finished areas as closely as possible to their original condition following installation of the work. C. All work pertaining to any requirements contained herein shall be included in the overall proposal submitted unless such cost is designated as a separate pay item in the Bid Schedule. D. Contractor shall be responsible for obtaining and paying for all necessary local and state licenses, permits and taxes. E. The Contractor will be required to deliver all equipment, pipe, valves, and other materials to the location of installation. Care shall be exercised in handling all materials and equipment, and the Contractor will be held responsible for all breakage or damage to same. F. Reunion pump station shall remain in service until the proposed Dove Point pump station is commissioned. The Mulberry Creek pump station shall remain in service at all times during modifications. To accomplish this will require the use of temporary pumping and piping at the Contractor cost. G. Hall County will salvage pumps and valve equipment removed from the Reunion and Mulberry Creek pump stations. Contractor to remove the salvageable equipment, transfer to the Spout Springs WRF and off load for storage.
