Ocean Springs District Wide Improvements The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids on any or all projects and to waive informalities. The cost of bid documents from Central Bidding varies depending on the subscription level of each bidder. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The value range for this project is $3,500,000- $4,500,000. PN - 2021-345.00, 112-114, 21-JBHM-01 The Work of the Project is defined by the Contract Documents and consists of the following: o HVAC Improvements. o Hand Dryers. o Child Nutrition Improvements. -Separate Contract: The Owner may award separate contracts for performance of certain construction operations at the site. Those operations will be conducted simultaneously with work under this Contract. Separate contracts may include the following: o Installation of Food Service Equipment. - Note requirements for Contractor's Access to Site and Use of Premises. -Note requirements for Coordination with Occupants (Owner will occupy the premises during entire construction period, with the exception of areas under construction). - Note Work Restrictions requirements: - On-Site Work Hours: When school is in session (i.e. other than school holidays, weekends, etc.), limit work in the existing building and on the rooftop to occur outside of school hours, and subject to the limitations of code and local ordinance / authorities having jurisdiction. - Existing Utility Interruptions: Do not interrupt utilities serving facilities occupied by Owner or others unless permitted under the following conditions and then only after providing temporary utility services according to requirements indicated: o Notify Owner not less than two days in advance of proposed utility interruptions. o Obtain Owner's written permission before proceeding with utility interruptions. - Noise, Vibration, and Odors: Coordinate operations that may result in high levels of noise and vibration, odors, or other disruption to Owner occupancy with Owner: o Notify Owner not less than two days in advance of proposed utility interruptions. o Obtain Owner's written permission before proceeding with utility interruptions. - The Ocean Springs School District has a requirement for all construction employees (General Contractor and Subcontractors) to have a background check. Refer to Article 1.9 of this Section, along with the example "CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION CERTIFICATION" document attached to this section
