Douglas County Project 2022-06 consists of Milling (2" Nominal), HMA- Commercial Grade Patching, HMA-Surfacing, Monument Boxes, Aggregate Shouldering, and Traffic Control. Douglas County Project 2022-06 is located on Douglas County Route 1029 (N1 to N500 Roads) along with an Add Alternate Bid to complete the same items on Route 1029 (N500 to N600 Road). The bid shall contain all information required by the solicitation, priced as required, and submitted no later than the exact opening time and date specified (unless extended by addendum). No other method of submitting bids will be accepted. Late submissions will not be permitted All bids must be accompanied by CERTIFIED CHECK, CASHIERS CHECK or a BID BOND for not less than Five Percent (5%) of the base bid as a guarantee that if awarded the Contract, the bidder will enter into a Contract and give bond as required. Said bid bond shall be made payable to the Board of County Commissioners, Douglas County, Kansas. Contracts will be awarded only to such bidders as are on the list of Pre-Qualified Contractors for the Kansas Department of Transportation on the date established for receiving and opening of bids. All subcontractors must be approved or vetted by Douglas County. The Board of County Commissioners of Douglas County, Kansas reserve the right to reject any or all bids and to waive technicalities, and to award the contract to the bidder that the Commission deems best suited to accomplish the work.
