They must be accompanied by proof that the signatory is duly authorized to present this tender and by an amount or a negotiable instrument equal to 5% of the amount of the tender. The municipality will keep in its possession said security, which will be returned to the contractor once the work has begun. This said amount or negotiable instrument of 5% is provided to secure the bid and shall be valid for a period of one hundred and twenty (120) days. The municipality reserves the right to disregard a minor formality with regard to the conformity of a tender if it deems, in its sole discretion, that the public interest justifies it. COMPLETION TIME The work must be carried out during one of the following periods, namely: from July 11 to July 29, 2022, or from August 15 to October 7, 2022.
