Renovation of a multi-residential development in Marinette, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a four-story above grade multi-residential development.

Work in general shall consist of the following work items: BASE BID 1 - PAINTING Work in general to consist of WALL PAINTING in the public corridors and public spaces of this 4-story building all as shown on the drawings and specifications BASE BID 2- FLOORING Work in general to consist of removal and replacement of flooring in the public corridors and public spaces of this 4-story building all as shown, on the drawings and specifications. A full set of electronic plans and specifications are available thru the architect's office at no charge. Bid Form, Bid Bond, Form of NonCollusive Affidavit and Representations, Certifications, and Other Statements of Bidders forms shall be submitted with bid. Failure to do so may be cause for rejection of bid. Copies of the above-mentioned firms are in the specification book. Bidders shall also include with bid letters regarding minority participation and Section 3 requirements as outlined in the specification book. A bid bond of 5% is required to be submitted with the bid with the bonding company listed in Circular 570 for bids over $25,000. See instructions to bidders for requirements. Each Bidder shall comply completely with Instructions to Bidders. This shall include evidence of an Affirmative Action Program, including women and minorities. Follow Executive Order 11246. Contractors shall comply with minimum salaries listed in the wage rates included in the specifications. Marinette Housing Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive any informality in the Bidding. Award will be made based upon experience, time to do the work and price. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Marinette Housing Authority. The requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 apply to this project and to the greatest extent feasible; contractors shall fulfill their obligation to utilize lower income residents as trainees and/ or employees.
