Board of Commissioners of the County of Camden, New Jersey, is requesting proposals for Request For Proposals for Request for Proposals for Professional Engineering Services for Construction Management/ Construction Inspection Services for Roadway Improvements to Church Road CR 616 NJ 38 To Camden County Line, Cherry Hill Township, for the Camden County Department of Public Works. No proposals will be accepted after the above referenced date and time. Proposals must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the name of the RFP clearly marked on the outside of the envelope. If hand-delivering proposal it must be left in the marked bin accessible from the 6th Street entrance to the Courthouse. Bin access is M-F 8:30 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. only. Proposals may not be e-mailed, faxed or transmitted over the telephone. Nothing herein is intended to exclude any responsible firm, or in any way restrain or restrict competition. All responsible firms are encouraged to submit proposals. The Board of Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals submitted in the best interest of the County and the Board further reserves the right to waive any defect or informality in any proposal should it be in the best interest of the County. Proposers are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, c. 127 (N.J.A.C. 17:27) and N.J.S.A. 10:5-31. This Request For Proposals does not constitute a bid and is intended solely to obtain competitive proposals from which the County may choose professional CM/CI services that best meet(s) the Countys needs. It is the Countys intent that no statutory, regulatory, or common law bidding requirements apply to this Request For Proposals. The County intends to award this contract pursuant to an Agreement between the New Jersey Department of Transportation and the County of Camden, Fed. Project No.: STBGP-PHILA-0616(301), NJDOT Job No.: 5809322, and pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(1)(a)(i). The method of contractor selection has not been determined at this time.
