Renovation of an educational facility in Greenwich, Connecticut. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
This request is for funding projects that make up the roofing section of the envelope of a building. This maintenance program includes, but is not limited to: roofing, roof access points, fascias, and soffits. The FY '24 request is for the section of the roof over the Tech Lab at WMS, which is showing issues with the exposed metal deck. This area was hidden by the dropped ceiling, otherwise it would have been addressed in FY '23 (or as soon as discovered). Professional services are required. In addition, a minimal request is included for annual roof replacement/repairs deemed necessary to protect the assets of the District. As of April 20, 2023, this project is included in the Town of Greenwich's FY 2024 - 2038 CIP and funding allocated for FY 2023-2024 and FY 2024-2025. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
