Site work for a mixed-use development in Manchester, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a fire / police facility; and water / sewer project.

The proposals will be reviewed by staff and it is anticipated that bids will be awarded by Construction would be scheduled to begin the week of April 18, 2022. Sawcut and remove 30' of existing slab (a width of 4'-6' from front exterior wall and across two bays) Grading of slab subgrade Placement and compaction of stone at trench bottom Installation of two (2) ACO (or suitable equivalent) in-line catch basins at each existing drain pipe Installation of ACO (or suitable equivalent) 4" power drain (approx. 25'), pitched to catch basins 8" x 1/2 " fiber expansion board at trench perimeter with 1/2 " void cap until polyurethane caulking performed at trench perimeters and control joints Drill and install 1/2 " x 18 smooth dowels at 2' - 0" on center into existing slab and exterior foundation wall Install three (3) rows of #4 rebar on interior side of trench drain and one (1) along exterior foundation wall 8" thick concrete (4" minimum under drain sections) 4,000 psi, air entrained 3/4 " commercial mix, pitched toward drain, finish to match existing floor Upon completion of concrete placement, and after any required cure time, all existing cracks in the entire bay floor will be repaired and entire floor sealed. Use of Transfer Station for proper demolition disposal is authorized (fees waived by Select Board) Maintain adequate ventilation of the work area to minimize impact to adjacent office and crew spaces, as well as any sensitive equipment This shall include sealing off living quarters from apparatus bay Sealing off SCBA air compressor room from the apparatus bay Maintain safety of the work zone Overhead door work will be arranged separately by Owner Building must be secured at end of each workday - responsibility of contractor Paint markings will be arranged separately by Owner Spill Containment (ex. spill kit, silt sock) will be on site, in place to prevent damage to the water/oil separator in the event of leak or debris The Town of Goffstown reserves the right to postpone or cancel this RFP or reject any and all proposals for any reason. The Town of Goffstown is not liable for any costs incurred by proposers in the preparation of proposals or for any work performed in connection therein. Late proposals will not be considered for evaluation. All submission materials become the property of the Town of Goffstown.
