Site work and paving for a civil project in River Forest, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.
Green Alley Improvements - Phase 1 The 2021 Green Alley Improvement project consists of the reconstruction of 14 alleys in the Village of River Forest. The project will be completed in three phases to minimize resident disruption. This project consists of the reconstruction of three of those alleys. The project includes the installation of pervious pavers and concrete alley pavement. A 6" perforated underdrain is proposed through the length of each alley, with a connection to the existing storm water system. Proposals will be considered not only on the basis of cost, but also on past performance, experience and ability to perform the work. No bid shall be withdrawn after the opening of the Proposals without the consent of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of River Forest for a period of thirty (30) days after the scheduled time of the bid opening. The Village of River Forest reserves the right in receiving these bids to waive technicalities and reject any or all bids.
