The City of Waynesboro is seeking bids to construct sidewalks. The project scope consists primarily of installing sidewalk along the north side of Lucy Lane, from the Walmart entrance to Rosser Avenue, with options to include additive sections of sidewalk along the west side of Rosser Avenue described as follows: 1. "Base" - Section of sidewalk along the north side of Lucy Lane to an ADA ramp (to be constructed by others) on the northwest corner of Rosser Avenue, approximately 440 feet of 5- foot-wide sidewalk; 2. "Additive #1" - Section of sidewalk along Rosser Ave from the end of the Base section to the property line of the bank and the shopping center, approximately 195 feet of 5-foot-wide sidewalk; and 3. "Additive #2" - Section of sidewalk from the end of the Additive #1 section to the northern property line of the shopping center to tie into the existing sidewalk adjacent to the Verizon store. Approximately 95 feet of 5-foot-wide sidewalk. Associated work will include, but not be limited to, construction surveying, temporary traffic control, earthwork, installation of curb ramps, pavement marking.
