Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Trussville, Alabama. Completed plans call for the construction of a 6,000-square-foot pre-engineered storage facility; and for site work for a pre-engineered storage facility.

The City of Trussville is requesting prices for the following pre-engineered metal building lean-to structure and roof system to be delivered to the job site located at 5900 Deerfoot Parkway Trussville Alabama, freight shall be included to the job site. Erection of the PEMB structure is by others. (1) - 60'-0" wide X 100'-0" long lean-to with a 16'-0" low side CLEAR height. The 60' width will be two spans at 30'-0" the 100'-0" length will be four bays at 25'-0" the roof slope will be 1:24. The building bracing will consist of portal frames for the low and high sides (Note" X" bracing may be used at the high side only but not in the end bays). The structure will be fabricated in accordance with the MBMA standards and shall meet all state and local codes. Wire frame drawings for review and column reactions will be required to be submitted no later than two weeks from the receipt of a purchase order issued by the city of Trussville. Permit drawings and calculations will be required for this structure. All drawings and column reactions will require the stamp of a registered professional engineer who is licensed in the state of Alabama. The roof panels will be Canceled Fastened 24" wide galvalume, first quality (MBCI Ultra-Dek(R) snap lock type or equal) panels, with gutter, rake trim and three down spouts. Gutter, rake trim and down spouts shall be factory painted in owner's choice of manufactures standard colors and shall be designed specifically for use with the roof system. High side flashing will be necessary, for flashing from Tilt-Up concrete walls to the new Lean-to roof. No insulation or wall panels are required. A two-pound minimum collateral load will be required. This building will be delivered to Trussville Alabama. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE FOR THIS PROJECT. The successful bidder must be able to deliver the complete structure and roofing system and trim package to the job site within 10 weeks of receipt of a purchase order issued by the city of Trussville.
