This solicitation describes a requirement for 2022 Concrete Cuts Reinstatement and Maintenance Services Contract - Safe Sidewalks Program. Please see ITT for more details on this matter. The Roadways & Transportation department is seeking a contractor to repair approximately 4,500 square meters of concrete utility excavation and concrete distress repairs to clear up the existing backlog. Concrete utility excavation will include all aspects of reinstatement including saw cutting, excavation, forming, pouring, landscaping and gutter patching. Concrete distresses will include repairs in the form of concrete replacement, mud jacking and asphalt capping. The total number of locations for repair or reinstatement will be available prior to execution of the Contract. The major items of work are as follows: - Reinstatement of concrete sidewalks, medians, curb & gutter, private walks, and driveways; - Excavation of any temporary in-place material; - Compaction and installation and compaction of base material; - Rebuild the existing catch basin and manhole tops up to one (1) vertical meter in depth; - Reinstatement by landscaping and gutter patching; - Adjusting concrete sidewalk and/or curb and gutter grades by mud jacking; - Overlaying sidewalk deficiencies with Hot Mix Asphalt; - Locate and identify all utilities and coordinate any relocation/lowering of utilities; - Traffic accommodations; and - Other related work.
