Ledyard Public Schools is accepting bids for the replacement of the Rooftop Airconditioning unit in the cafeteria at Ledyard high School 24 Gallup Hill Rd. Ledyard CT 06339 Bids received after the bid date and time will not be accepted. Ledyard Public Schools reserves the right to accept or reject any part of or the entire bid at its sole discretion. Ledyard Public Schools reserves the right to waive minor discrepancies in bid submissions. Bids must be valid for a period of not less than 90 days from the date of submission. Bid documents are the property of Ledyard Public Schools and will not be returned to the bidder. Bidders are to include all appropriate licenses, manufacturer certifications and or any DAS or other recognized purchasing consortiums they are affiliated with if any. Bidders are to supply a minimum of three references for similar projects and documentation showing experience within the last 5 years of other similar installations. Bidders are to include cut sheet information on all products being supplied. Warranty time frame on the materials are to be included in the bid. Bidders are to supply a two (2) year warranty on workmanship from the completion of the project. Bidders are to supply two paper copies of the bid. One (1) original and one (1) copy. Bidders are to supply the bid on a thumb drive in addition to the two paper copies. Project is to replace the existing RTU for the Ledyard High School cafeteria with a like size unit. The supplied unit must meet all current energy efficiency standards. Bidders are asked to supply pricing on a heat pump unit also. Bidders are to supply full cut sheets on any equipment being bid.. The successful bidder will be required to complete any crane work during times that there are no students in the building. Copies of any questions or addenda issued will be posted on the three websites. It is not expected that the project amount will require prevailing wage rates. Any bid that fall within the prevailing wage rate should be priced using the current prevailing wage rate table.
