Village of Grafton, Wisconsin by the undersigned Director of Public Works that it will receive bids for the replacement of sidewalk as follows: CONTRACT # 22-02: Approximately 5777.0 SF 4" Concrete Sidewalk (Remove & Replace) Approximately 80.0 SF 5" Concrete Sidewalk/ Driveway (Remove & Replace)The Village reserves the right to reject any & all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities in bidding or accept any bid or bids which, in the opinion of the Village, shall serve the Village's best interest.Bidders shall file Contractors Qualification Statement prior to bid opening. Contractors must have a minimum of 5 years of experience with municipal sidewalk removal & replacement projects, or similar experience. References listed must include contracts for similar municipal projects completed. Applicable experience with root removal & similar specifications is also preferred. BID SECURITY: A certified check, or satisfactory bid bond payable to the Village of Grafton in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent or more than ten (10%) percent of the bid shall accompany each bid as guarantee that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute & file the Contract Performance Bond & Insurance Certificate as required by this contract within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of the Contract by the Village. The work to be performed under this contract generally consists of removing and replacing existing concrete sidewalk in the project area shown on the location map. The project can on or after May 2, 2022. The project must be completed by September 23, 2022.
