Intent of this Bid Call is to obtain an offer to perform work for the construction of the Holy Saviour School / Ecole Val des Bois (HS/VdB): Roof Replacement, in Marathon, Ontario Offers signed under seal, executed, and dated will be received at the office of Construction Association of Thunder Bay, 857 North May Street, Thunder Bay, ON P7C 3S2, no later than 3:00 pm (EST), Tuesday March 29th, 2022. Englobe's scope of work included the following: o Site survey visit by qualified Englobe personnel to visually identify Designated Substances and collect representative samples of suspect asbestos-containing materials and leadcontaining paint, as applicable. o The DSS included the Designated Substances defined by the Ontario Health and Safety Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.O.1, as amended (the Act); Ontario Regulation 490/09 (O.Reg 490/09), as amended. The 11 Designated Substances include acrylonitrile; arsenic; asbestos; benzene; coke oven emissions; ethylene oxide; isocyanates; lead; mercury; silica; and vinyl chloride. o The preparation of this report, summarizing the findings and recommendations, as warranted.
