Bids shall include, and Bidders shall submit with their Bids, bid security in the form of (i) a bond in accordance with Ohio Revised Code Sections 153.54 and 153.571 naming the Board of Education as obligee for the total amount of the Bid, including all add alternates, or (ii) a certified check, cashier's check or letter of credit in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the Bid, including all add alternates, as prescribed by Ohio Revised Code Section 153.54. The successful Bidder, awarded the Contract on this Project and prior to the execution of the Form of Agreement between Owner and Contractor, shall provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, covering the faithful performance of the Contract and the payment of obligations arising thereunder in a penal sum equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the Contract sum. Said bonds shall remain in effect for twelve (12) months after date established as start of one yearcorrection period.
