As of August 25, 2022, an engineer has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been disclosed. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: The selected consultant will perform a complete design level inspection of the bridges. The inspections will be used to determine the detailed scope of work and to assist in the preparation of plans and contract documents for the bridge rehabilitation projects. Questions must be submitted before the due date identified in the Procurement Schedule for this RFP. All inquiries must be submitted in the Q/A section of the project listing in the Bonfire Procurement Portal. A five percent (5%) DBE goal has been established for the sum total of all federally-funded tasks associated with this Agreement. The Department will require ongoing reviews and approval of good faith efforts before a Notice to Proceed is issued. Department DBE Program staff will monitor this Agreement to ensure that good faith efforts are being made to meet the DBE goal. DBE firms must be certified through DelDOT's DBE Program in order to qualify toward meeting the goal. Deadline for Questions to ensure response: Thursday, March 24, 2022 2:00 P.M.
