Furnish temporary pump as necessary to test pump existing well and ascertain specific capacity (GPM/ft = Drawdown Rate) over total period of 8 hours. Record results every 2 hours and inform/confer with Engineer before acquiring new pump. 2. Coordinate with Owner/BTU to kill and reconnect power as required. 3. Replace existing deteriorated pump control panel w/ new in NEMA 3R enclosure. Square D, Gould, Franklin or approved equal compatible with new pump. Construct suitable stand (re. sketch) for mounting panel, instead ofon pole as is. 4. Install new 4", submersible pump including new 4" drop pipe, electrical cable, etc. Pump shall be properly sized to match capacity ofwell, but for bid purposes, assume 20 HP, capable of 440 GPM at 132' TDH. Pump shall be 3 ph, 230V, Grundfos or approved equal. 5. Fabricate and install removeable steel cap plate to close offtop ofwell casing. Include 2" welded steel nipple w/ threaded cap for access port to check water level. 6. Reconnect discharge piping and appurtenances at well, including changing out one existing air-vac with new pressure reliefvalve (set @ 60 psi). Furnish all labor, materials, and equipment necessary to remove existing well pump, and electrical and replace with 4", 20 HP submersible pump including 4" piping, electrical cable, etc. Pump shall be capable of 440 GPM at 132' TDH.
