Site work for a civil project in Visalia, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Technical questions should be directed in writing to Michael J. Winton, P.E. at the Resource Management Agency, 5961 S. Mooney Blvd, Visalia CA 93277 or at Mwinton@tularecounty.ca.gov . No questions will be accepted within five (5) working days of the bid opening (Questions must be received by 2:00 pm on Wednesday, March 23, 2022). The work to be done consists, in general, of shoulder excavation, overhead beacon installation, and signing/striping. Other items or details not mentioned herein that are required by the plans, Standard Specifications or these Special Provisions must be performed, constructed, furnished or installed. Bidders may visit the project site. This project is off of the Federal Highway System. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and/or waive any informality in any bid, and/or determine in its discretion the responsibility of any bidder. The Board of Supervisors further reserves the right to use County Forces, or to negotiate contracts, or both, to the extent authorized by the Public Contract Code.
