The City of Henderson, Nevada, is soliciting responses from qualified construction managers/general contractors for the performance of Construction Manager at Risk services for the renovation of one (1) or more existing fire stations, which will be performed in a phased manner. The first phase consists of the renovation of existing restrooms at Fire Station 81 located at 600 College Drive, Henderson, NV. Question Cutoff Date 3/23/2022 12:00 pm PT The City and the Henderson Fire Department value diversity and are committed to converting existing gender specific facilities to all-gender or gender inclusive facilities, to be consistent with new station standards. This project will consist of renovation of restrooms and dorms, in a phased manner spanning several fiscal years. Funding availability will dictate the number of phases that are completed each fiscal year. Anticipated scope for the first phase at Fire Station 81 includes renovation of the existing gender specific restrooms to individual use all-gender restrooms. An additive alternate will include the renovation of an open dorm room to individual dorm rooms to provide more privacy. A second add alternate will include building expansion for a fitness room. Pre-construction services shall include constructability reviews, construction cost estimates, advice, project analysis and feedback regarding materials, methods, systems, schedule, labor and other conditions affecting construction and subcontractor selection for development and construction of the Project. The City's construction estimate for the base scope of this phase is between $140,000 and $185,000 (pending final programming and funding), therefore Nevada State Prevailing Wage Rates will apply.
