Renovation of a water / sewer project in Mount Pleasant, Michigan. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
As of November 14, 2022, a general contractor has been selected for the project. A firm timeline for construction has not been established. *The closed solicitation has been included below for reference: Water Resource Recovery Facility Improvements Phase 1 The Project consists of furnishing all supplies for and constructing a Install septage screen unit complete with precast concrete building. Removal of existing grit air-lift tank and all grit equipment. Installation of 2 vortex grit tanks, grit building including, 2 grit pumps, and 1 grit classifier. Rehab of 2-digester tanks including removal of covers. Install fixed mixer with fixed cover on primary tank, and jet mixer with dual membrane cover on secondary tank. Remove brick façade on digesters and replace with spray foam. Replace digester building roof and HVAC. Replacement of equalization basin liners
