The project involves full architectural and engineering services to make repairs to Middle Bay Lighthouse. The repair work will be completed in multiple phases. This first phase consists of roof repairs. Subsequent phases will consist of miscellaneous exterior and interior repairs as identified through the scope of this work, including but not limited to painting the steel supports, replacing the anodes on the steel supports, and restoring the iron handrails. The structure is of historic significance and will be restored to the highest standards of restoration in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior's Standards for Treatment of Historic Properties. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this time.
