The Summersville R-2 School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, as well as accept all or part of any proposal. The winning bid will be based on cost, experience references, quality of materials, and availability to schedule project in a timely manner. Work is to proceed no earlier than July 1st. Visiting the bid location can be arranged with Dr. Stark up to the deadline date.The district is seeking separate bids for the asbestos removal and the related construction floor installation, window installation, and any related work. Those submitting proposals can bid for one part or all parts of this project, but it has to be coordinated together. Any necessary communications can be directed to Rick Stark at 417-331-4153. Thisconstruction project involves asbestos removal of floor tiles, windows, soffits, etc. The district is seeking separate bids for the asbestos removal and the related construction floorinstallation, window installation, and any related work The main objective is to remove asbestos from elementary and replace windows and tiles removed. 1) Remove all asbestos parts of exterior windows in the North section of the elementary building, 2) Replace exterior windows removed, 3) Remove asbestos flooring tiles, and 4) Replace flooring. Note: All classroom windows must have one egress window for evacuation purposes. The windows should be energy efficient and have a more contemporary look.
