Site work for a municipal facility in Toledo, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a municipal facility.
The scope of work is to be completed in general conformance with the attached Technical Specifications and Drawings. Given the nature of the work, contractor(s) should anticipate and expect the potential for field adjustments during the execution of the work as it progresses. These work activities are being completed as the first phase of 2022 Landfill Site Improvements to ensure the landfill remains in compliance with Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) regulations applicable to the Hoffman Road Landfill (HRL) and the new landfill Permit to Install (PTI) issued on June 11, 2021. This is a rebid of a spring request with a reduced scope. The City of Toledo is requesting bids to complete various landfill site improvements, including soil cover placement, vegetative cover placement, stormwater controls and seeding/mulching. Alternate bid items include waste relocation, additional acreage to cover and one additional stormwater control structure.
