All bid submissions must be either hand delivered or sent via UPS, Fed Ex, etc. Please call the above number to confirm bid packages have been received prior to bid opening. Bids WILL NOT be accepted via email. If a bid exceeds Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00), the Bidder and its prime subcontractors must be prequalified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction and possess a valid and current Notice of Classification at the time of bidding. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26, in order to be eligible to submit a Bid for the Project, the Bidder shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) as of the date and time of the bid opening in the following discipline. Bid securities shall comply with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24. Bids shall also include a Certificate of Consent of Surety obligating the issuing surety company to provide the bidder and its subcontractors, if successful, with a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the full amount of the contract. All bonds shall be in compliance with New Jersey law. Any bid may be withdrawn on written request received from a bidder prior to the time fixed for the bid opening. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or to waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law, if it is in the interest of the Board to do so. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.50 et seq., Bidders and their subcontractors are required to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor and to possess a current Certificate from said Department indicating compliance at the time of bidding. The Board reserves the sole and exclusive right in its discretion to extend the term of the Contract for one additional year under the Terms and Conditions as set forth herein in Paragraph 16G under "Contracts". The Board of Education reserves the right to waive any informalities in bidding or to reject any/all bids.
