Renovation of an educational facility in Cochrane, Alberta. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

1. Unless otherwise stated replace fixture with same size fixture. 2. Unless otherwise stated keep the switching the same. In the gym we have two swithes. This will remain the same. The four-night light fixtures will be converted with LED tubes (four in each). 3. Flush mounted fixtures in drywall to be retrofitted, trim to be touched up with pain and a new lense installed. 4. LED trougher fixtures to be wattage and color adjustable. Standard color is 4000k. 5. Unless otherwise stated assume 120 volts. 6. All old fixtures to be removed and recycled at the contractor's cost. 7. All cardboard from new fixtures to be recycled by the contractor. 8. Floors in areas of work to be protected or the contractor could be charged for damage to the floor if warranted. 9. Fixtures with a 10-year warranty preferred. 10. Fixtures from a recognized brand are preferred. Lithonia Sylvania equivalent or better. 11. Floors swept up after installation of new fixtures. 12. Any unused lighting whips to be removed. 13. Emergency lighting systems that have been replaced must be tested and meet requirements. 14. Material storage to be determined with Rocky view staff. 15.Location of bins and dumpsters to be determined with Rocky view staff. 16. Gym pendant fixtures to be 18000LM 4000k. Lithonia, JCBL or equivalent. High bay fixtures to have guards if needed for this application. 17. Gym pendants to be hung as close to the ceiling as possible. Old gym fixtures to be removed and junction boxes to be landed at new light locations. A Qdeck anchor appropriate for hanging each of the new fixtures is to be included as part of the fixture installation. 18. No dimming to be added unless otherwise specified. 19. Reinstall all devices such as speakers, fire alarm devices, and remote heads in new ceiling tiles. 20. Ceiling contractor is to be a sub of the lighting contractor who shall be general contractor.
