Background Information on the College Mercer County Community College (the College) was established in 1966 as a unit of the New Jersey Master Plan for Higher Education and became part of a statewide network of 19 county colleges. The main campus is situated on 292 suburban acres in West Windsor. The James Kerney Campus, located in downtown Trenton, serves as an educational and cultural hub for city residents. As of October 2020, the college enrolled approximately 12,000 credit and non-credit students. The college offers 72-degree program options and numerous credit certificate programs.
