Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid bond, cashiers check, or certified check in the amount of ten percent of the amount bid or but not in excess of $20,000.00 maximum, whichever is the lesser. Certified checks shall be made payable to The Jersey City Municipal Utilities Authority. A Performance Bond Is Not Required for This Contract. Bidders Must Comply With the Requirements of N.j.s.a. 10:5-31 Et Seq. And N.j.a.c. 17:27-1 Et Seq. Governing Affirmative Action in the State of New Jersey. Accompanying the Bid of a corporation or a partnership, there shall be submitted a statement setting forth the name and address of all stockholders in the corporation or a partnership who own 10% or more of its stock, of any class, or of all individual partners in the partnership who own a 10% or greater interest therein, as the case may be. If one or more such stockholder(s) or partner(s) is itself a corporation or partnership, the stockholders holding 10% or more of that corporations stock, or the individual partners owning a 10% or greater interest in that partnership, or of all members of the limited liability company who own a 10% or greater interest therein, as the case may be, shall also be listed. The disclosure shall be continued until names and addresses of every non-corporate stockholder, individual partner or limited liability member exceeding the 10% ownership criteria established in the applicable New Jersey Public Laws of 1977, Chapter 8 (N.J.S.A. 52:25-24.2), has been listed. The requirements of P.L. 1977 Chapter 8 are to apply to all forms of corporations and partnerships, including limited partnerships, limited liability corporations, limited liability partnerships, and Subchapter S corporations. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, to waive any informalities, or to accept the Bid for the Contract in accordance with applicable law that, in its sole judgment, best serves the interests of the Authority. All Bids submitted shall hold firm and shall not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of Bids without the written consent of the Authority. Mutually agreed upon extensions of time may be made, if necessary, and in accordance with the Local Public Contracts Law. Bids may be submitted in person, or may be sent by United States Certified Mail Return Requested, or may be delivered by Private Courier Service to the Authoritys Purchasing Agent no later than Stated date and time.Bidder is solely responsible for the timely delivery of the bid and no bids shall be considered that are presented after the public call for receiving bids.
