The new chiller will serve to decrease the building's cooling demands. The device will be connected to the existing network located at the same level as the new installation. Transfer of market Note that in the contract there will be a transfer of market for the pre-order, made by the CISSSME, of the cooling unit. To speed up delivery, the Owner has pre-ordered the following equipment: 1 Equipment no. 1: 95 T air-cooled packaged chiller unit 2 Refer to section 23 64 00 Group chiller (pre-order). 3 By Contractor specializing in ventilation. Include in the price of the bid, a lump sum of $120,000 for the purchase of this equipment (excluding applicable taxes). The order for this equipment will be transferred to the section concerned, which will be awarded the contract for carrying out the work described in this estimate. Also include in the submission, site reception, storage, handling, weather protection, hoisting, installation and connection of equipment, as well as all other work recommended by the manufacturer. Upon award by the Owner to the mechanical contractor, the Owner will assign its responsibilities under the contract for the equipment described in this estimate. The mechanical contractor will absorb this contract as a subcontract under its entire responsibility, thereby assuming all rights, privileges, obligations and responsibilities, including payments made under the contract. Assignment by the Owner to the Mechanical Contractor shall in no way relieve the Bidder of its responsibilities and obligations under this Contract.
